ALOO MATAR PATTY

Ingredients
  • 1 cup - Green Peas boiled and mashed
  • 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • ⅛ tsp - Asafetida
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - Chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp - Finely chopped green chilies
  • 500 gm - Potatoes boiled
  • 1 slice - Bread
  • tsp - Black Pepper
  • ¼ cup - Cream of Wheat (Suji)
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. In a hot pan add mustard seeds and asafetida.
  2. Add peas and stir.
  3. Put in salt, coriander powder and green chilies.
  4. Shut the gas, add lemon juice and give a stir.
  5. Mash grated potatoes and crumbled bread add salt and pepper.
  6. Make smooth pliable dough.
  7. Shape into round lemon sized balls.
  8. Press to flatten a little and pinch the edge all around.
  9. Wet the pressed edges; place a heap of cooked peas in the centre.
  10. Bring the wet edges together, seal and press between the palms.
  11. Roll lightly in the cream of wheat.
  12. Roast on convection mode for 15 minutes on 180 °C till golden brown.
Notes
Replace green peas by any other other stir fried vegetables of your choice.
