Ingredients
- 1 cup - Green Peas boiled and mashed
- 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
- ⅛ tsp - Asafetida
- 1 tsp - Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
- 1 tsp - Sugar
- 1 tbsp - Chopped coriander
- 1 tsp - Finely chopped green chilies
- 500 gm - Potatoes boiled
- 1 slice - Bread
- tsp - Black Pepper
- ¼ cup - Cream of Wheat (Suji)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a hot pan add mustard seeds and asafetida.
- Add peas and stir.
- Put in salt, coriander powder and green chilies.
- Shut the gas, add lemon juice and give a stir.
- Mash grated potatoes and crumbled bread add salt and pepper.
- Make smooth pliable dough.
- Shape into round lemon sized balls.
- Press to flatten a little and pinch the edge all around.
- Wet the pressed edges; place a heap of cooked peas in the centre.
- Bring the wet edges together, seal and press between the palms.
- Roll lightly in the cream of wheat.
- Roast on convection mode for 15 minutes on 180 °C till golden brown.
Notes
Replace green peas by any other other stir fried vegetables of your choice.
