OIL FREE GUNJHIYA
Healty, tasty Gunjhiya made of Coconut, sugar, khoya, nuts and maida without oil.

Ingredients
- 1 cup - Powdered sugar or as per taste
- 1 cup - Grated Coconut dried
- cup - Khoya
- 1 cup - Semolina
- 2 tbsp - Chopped dry fruits
- tsp - Cardamom powder
- 2 cups - Refined Flour
- cup - Cream
- Water
Instructions
- In a hot pan roast semolina till golden brown.
- Roast grated coconut on low heat.
- Also roast very lightly khoya for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
- Mix in the sugar, coconut, khoya, cardamom powder .
- Also add nuts and make mixture for Gunjiya.
- Sieve flour, add cream and make soft dough.
- Roll out small puri.
- Fill in the mixture and cut Gunjiya using the cutter.
- Preheat oven arrange Gunjiya on the rack.
- Set oven on 205°C for 10 minutes.
- To make it more brown roast on high temperature for 4-5 minutes.
Notes
Different fillings can be made for Gunjiya.
Fresh grated coconut and jaggery with poppy seed, sesame seeds and nuts.
Fresh dates coarsely ground with jaggery and sesame seeds.
Crumble left over mithai like laddo, burfi, pedha, kaju katri etc. mix together to use as filling.
